The new holiday setting for the riverfront park runs through Dec. 25 with seven pop-up shops in decorated PODS containers, an ice rink and a cafe.

Ice Skating at Tampa's Winter Village Now - December 25th Various Times

Even in Florida, you can get in the holiday spirit by ice skating on an outdoor rink in the park. Each 90-minute session includes skate rental. Open every day through Dec. 25. New this year is a cafe from Mise en Place with holiday snacks like roasted chestnuts, festive sweets and a full bar.

Price: $12.

 

Holiday Tea Sunday, December 4th 2:30PM

Hats and holiday formal wear are recommended for this holiday high tea with holiday scones, Devonshire cream, Teavana holiday teas, entertainment by the Southern Company Chorus, silent auction and prizes for best hats.

Santa and Mrs. Claus give toys to good kids ages 10 and younger at the 27th annual festival with skateboarding, hot dog meals, music and games.

Apollo Beach Lighted Boat Parade Saturday, December 10th 5:30 PM

Tampa Sailing Squadron: 1250 Apollo Beach Blvd., Ruskin, 33572

The Tampa Sailing Squadron hosts this event and the party afterward with a chili cook off. There is good viewing from the clubhouse and docks.

Nutcracker Tea Sunday, December 11th 11AM

Glazer Children's Museum 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa, 33602

Children can enjoy tea and finger food with Clara and the Nutcracker Prince as they learn basic movements from the classic ballet.

Price: $25, $20 members.

 

Santa's Holiday Workshop Saturday, December 17th 11AM

Children can do arts and crafts and wrap gifts before eating lunch and visiting with Santa in his workshop. For tickets, bring a $10 toy to Center Place before the event. Tickets will not be distributed at the door. Benefits the Emergency Care Health Organization.

Price: $10 toy donation.

Holiday Lighted Boat Parade Tampa Sunday December 18th 6PM

Watch festively decorated boats spread holiday cheer as they motor and sail from Rick's on the River and pass Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and the Tampa Convention Center with judging at the Sail Pavilion and ending at Channelside.

Holiday Classic Movie Series: It's A Wonderful Life Monday, December 19th 7:30 PM

Enjoy select holiday classics with a sing-along to holiday carols by the Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ before each show.
